The Infants Royal Club is situated only 10' away from the city center, on 4 Basarabia Street, in a quiet residential neighborhood.
The two buildings (600 mp), where our nursery and kindergarten activities take place, offer plenty of room for full body movements (jumping, climbing, balancing, throwing and catching for e.g.) and for generally quieter symbolic games.
Both buildings are provided with a dining room, classrooms with teaching tables, reading materials and toys. Furniture is mostly child-sized, tables and chairs fit students properly and the whole work- and play-area feels homey and cosy.
Outdoor activities play a central role in our kindergarten pedagogy, therefore on sunny days, kids can enjoy playing outside in our courtyard, where they develop their physical strength and connect to nature.
All of our teachers provide the highest standards of care and education and support all of our children with language, social skills, cognitive and emotional development.
One of our priorities is health education. Along with pediatrician dr. Ileana Radu, children's health state is monitored weekly, and hygiene and health guidelines are being implemented and followed. We also partner with physical therapist (PT) Alina Cernescu, whose goal is to maximize children's functional movement and increase gross motor development. Thanks to physical therapy, toddlers develop coordination, improve balance, maintain flexibility, build strength and maximize independence.
Nutrition is also very important to us. As early childhood educators, we have a great responsibility to help preschoolers learn about making healthy food choices. Our cook gives great importance to the origin, quality and preparation of the ingredients. Our homemade food and healthy snacks contribute to the well-being, physical and mental development of the children.
All of our teachers are university graduates with a good knowledge of alternative education: Foreign Languages specialists, as well as Education and Psychology specialists.
We also organize extracurricular activities, such as park visits, theatre, swimming, tennis, fire department and furniture factory tours, the circus, etc., which allow children to improve their work ethic and people skills. They also give them a chance to explore various interests that they might have and provide them with a way that they can get involved. As their self-esteem increases, they will be able to really shine.
Christmas- and End-of-Year celebrations are challenging projects, where children let their creativity and imagination fly. They require great effort, but always end in memorable, fun days. Dancing and singing strengthen children's minds and serve as fundamental skills of learning.
Our goal is to highly contribute to all aspects of early toddlerhood development and always find the best way to get our children ready for a more balanced and happy life.
The passion that accompanies our attention to subjects, issues and children is not just something we offer our students. It's also a gift we grant ourselves, because it is a way of honoring our life's work, our profession.
